Classes are held on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Beginner
Dogs and handlers will learn all individual agility obstacles, the what’s and why’s of each obstacle as well. Proper techniques for safely doing all obstacles while having a safe, fun experience. Dogs will progress to small sequences and learning appropriate handling techniques. As class progresses from session through session, so will the level of difficulty. Rules and regulations, information on how to enter shows, etc., are discussed during each session.

Intermediate
Class will consist of training sequences and full course work to build speed and confidence in both dogs and handlers. Class will incorporate changes of direction, but are more “flowing” in nature, allowing students to master the handling skills required for those courses. This includes driving lines, distinguishing between acceleration and deceleration, handling from a distance, and skilled execution of front crosses, rear crosses,serpentines, etc. Above all, class will be fun and easy-going.
Prerequisites
Advanced
Class will primarily consist of course work, improving handling skills and ensuring the dog and handler can complete courses successfully. There will be a focus on advanced skills including things like back-side of jumps, threadles, reverse spins and other advanced maneuvers. Courses will be similar to AKC Masters/Premier or USDAA Masters.
